Janette Silverman manages a team of researchers at AncestryProGenealogists®, specializing in Eastern European & Jewish research. She has masters & doctorate degrees in Jewish studies from Spertus Institute. A longtime JewishGen volunteer, until recently was UkraineSIG coordinator, was named the 2017 JewishGen Volunteer of the Year, serves as an IAJGS Board member & was chair of the 2016 IAJGS conference in Seattle. She has been researching for clients & her own family for over 35 years.
