I'm slowly but surely trying to catch up with new Jewish music, and also trying to improve my knowledge of nusach. I used to co-lead P'sukei D'Zimrah with my husband. We tried to introduce new music to our congregation, which didn't work out as well as we'd hoped. But now that my husband "retired" as "acting rabbi" after 12 years, we're trying to contribute to a minyan, instead. I blog at https://onthefringe_jewishblog.blogspot.com/, and I'm on Facebook as Shira Salamone. (Long story). I love to sing (especially harmony) and write, and, back in the good old days when my health was a bit better, I used to go Israeli folk dancing once or twice a week.
